"The Heart Of Worship"
By Matt Redman
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
and it's all about You, it's all about You, Jesus.
I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it
when it's all about You, it's all about You, Jesus.

This is one of my favorite favorite, praise songs to sing. I usually sing it with no music and take a little time to just simply focus on the words. "I'm coming back to the heart of worship
and it's all about You, it's all about You, Jesus. I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it
when it's all about You, it's all about You, Jesus."
Where is your Heart of Worship today? Is it focused on the One Creator or is it distracted by the many things of the world?
What is Worship? Worship is most often perceived as praising God during a church service. When in all actuality it means SO much more! Webster says worship is... Worship is to honor with extravagant love and extreme submission. EXTRAVAGANT LOVE and EXTREME SUBMISSION..WOW, I think Webster nailed it. But still it SO much more than just that. Worship is a lifestyle, worship is a sacrifice, worship is giving every single little thing and big thing for that matter to the LORD of all. We are created to worship the Father who created us. You can not truly worship God unless your heart, mind and soul are set on things above. If they are not, you are worshiping out of duty and expectancy. Worship in any form should be automatic. Worship does not only take place on Sunday in a church building. Worship should take place every day in our heart, mind and soul. Many actions show our praise and worship and trust in God. Sacrificing, being ready to GO at any moment, trusting and knowing that He has it all under control, obedience, witnessing, praying, loving and thanking God are all ways that we can show our worship to Him. We should worship Him in ALL aspects of our lives, worship genuinly and trust and do immediately.
Where is your Heart of Worship today?
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter hiss gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
