After spending 4 1/2 hours in the kitchen today I am finally done and resting. I made 11 meals and one dessert. 8 meals were for our freezer meal swap Sunday, 1 was dinner, 1 was hot sausage sandwiches to experiment on freezing them for lunches. And 1 for brunch tomorrow morning for our womens meeting at church. Whew.... I wanted to share with you the recipe for the Baked Ziti that I made for the freezer meal swap.
One Box of Penne noodles, 24 oz Jar of Marinara Sauce, 16 oz Jar of Alfredo Sauce, Two Cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese and 1/2- 1 Cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.
Cook pasta according to package. Combine The Marinara and the Alfredo sauce in a bowl. Stir in the Mozzarella cheese. When noodles are done stir them in also. Pour in a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly then add the Parmesan cheese and bake for 5 more minutes. I added browned sausage to the top of mine this time for the freezer swap. You could add Hamburger or Chicken also.
Hope you enjoy!!!!
As a bonus we made Biscuit waffles this evening for dinner, there where so simple, mess free and good!! And the perfect size for the kids!
Lasagna Soup
So I made this a couple of weeks ago I just keep forgetting to post it. I found the recipe on Pinterest and I loved it!
Here is the link to the original recipe that I used.

The only thing I changed was I did NOT add Green Pepper and I DID add garlic!!
I also bought a Baguette and sliced it and wiped butter with Tastefully Simple's Italian Garlic Bread Seasoning on it and then baked it for a few minutes.
It was SO good and fairly easy alternative to Lasagna! Yum Yum!
