Good Night Monday

So I realize that I forgot to post the next section last week but when I realized it it was way to late so I am posting this week instead. Here is the next section from the women's retreat. Remember comments and questions are welcome. I would also love feedback. I will check back on Thursday to respond if needed. So let's begin.....

A couple of weeks ago we looked at the first two verses which were

10  A wife of noble character who can find?  She is worth far more than rubies.
11  Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.

I hope you have taken some time to reflect and digest on what we looked at and are beginning to see your worth and value. Let's look at the next three verses.

12  She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life
13  She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
14  She is like the merchant ships bringing her food from afar.

Verses 12,13 &14
She is there for her husband all the days of her life. This means through good and bad and yes through sickness
and health. The divorce rate is 50% of all marriages end in divorce now it also shows that the older people are
when they get married the lower the rate is. I am statistic both ways. I was divorced at the age of 21 and I have
also now been remarried now for 9 1/2 years. My husband and I plan on having a 10 year wedding renewal
this year and  we are very excited about that and the fact that our love for each other is still growing.
I am married to my husband through sickness and health ALL the days of our lives.
And trust me that health one has definitely been tested, his health, my healthy, a premature baby's health
but God Always provides and by the grace of God we have come this far and have four amazing children.
Now back this woman, we are suppose to be a woman that is humble and that is willing to work, work with our
hands and provide in whatever way that is needed for our family. Sometimes there are major life changes and
you don’t have a choices, this woman will step up and provide for her loved ones. Sometimes we are
overwhelmed with the weekly and daily tasks that we have to do such as dishes, laundry , cooking and
cleaning but it is actually NOBLE to do these things.
And God is honored when do these things eagerly without dread and complaint.
1 Corinthians 10:10 And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.
We should NOT complain against God!
Nor should we complain against the blessing or tasks that God has given us.
Complaining against God is a SIN. Just imagine how our lives would be if no
one wanted or was willing to do the laundry or to cook dinner. Our lives would be a disaster and not only that
but what kind of example would that be for our children? Instead we should be thanking God that we HAVE
laundry to fold and food to cook and that we ARE able to provide for our family!
Verse 14 in modern days could be like we are wiling to search and get healthy foods or to try new recipes to
and make things that are better for our families. Not always running to the store and grabbing chicken nuggets
and pizza rolls but actually taking the time cook a wholesome meal. This is another way of showing love by
taking the time to provide adequate meals for our families. We can also take the time to prepare meals
ahead of time such as freezer meals. This not only gives us more time with our family but also allows us to
cool good, quality meals without being rushed. If you need freezer meal ideas let me know I have a nice long
list :)

Please take some time to reflect on these three verses. Ask God to show himself to you, to start changing you now into the RARE woman of God that he desire you to be and yo keep changing you in this way. Also to show you ways that you can love your husband in a Godly way and the wife that he needs and the mother that your children need. Practice working eagerly this week and not complaining about daily tasks but know that you are serving God when doing these things willingly. Try a new recipe or this week or you can even start but trying a menu plan to make things a little easier.  Remember we must trust that God has it under control and HE WILL PROVIDE.
Looking forward to comments and questions on Thursday!
Love to you all and remember, Give grace, Live grace and Love gracefully
